Choosing one of our special dietary cakes!

“A food allergy is an exaggerated immune system to a food protein and the body triggers an allergic reaction.” The majority of allergic reactions are triggered by egg, milk (dairy), peanuts, soy, wheat, seeds, fish and shellfish. Eggs and dairy products are the most common triggers in infants and nuts and seafood are most commonly triggered in children, teenagers and adults.

I’m a diabetic, vegan, feminist and was wondering if the sugar in your vegan cakes could be substituted with baby elephant tears? I would also like the cake to be a more gender neutral colour maybe teal or tangerine. Lastly I do 3 hour cross fit sesions five times a week, i know it’s not relevant but thought I’d mention it anyway.

      Hi there,

      Thanks for query.

To answer your first question, no, we can not substituted sugar with baby elephant tears, as they are rather difficult to come across and there may be a be a few ethical issues there. We can provide other more available options, such as:
      -Agave Nectar
      -Maple Syrup
      -Honey
      -Applesauce
      -Coconut Sugar

You are more than welcome to have gender neutral colour, like teal or tangerine, however as these coulors are a bit more complicated to produce, more time will be required to create the correct colour pallet.
It is also great to see you are keeping yourself fit and healthy with cross fit. I have heard nothing but wonderful things about that activity.

If you have another questions, feel free to post another comment or contact us.

      Thanks,
